Q Imagine that you have been asked to give a TED Talk-like speech in a large lecture hall (i.e. Taylor Lecture Hall) and it is open to BU students, faculty, and staff as well as the general community. Your goal is to present a new idea or new perspective about an existing issue and persuade the audience (who may or may not agree with you) to understand, agree, or take action on your topic. Your topic should be familiar enough (either through research or through personal experience) that you can bring together a fully written and rehearsed speech.
